DMCA Copyright Policy

Overview

Venddr respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond expeditiously to valid takedown notices and maintain a registered DMCA agent as required by § 512(c)(2).

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To request removal of content that infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our DMCA agent containing all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (e.g., the URL of the listing).
4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent. A valid counter-notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your district (or if outside the US, any judicial district in the US).

We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringers

Venddr will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a false DMCA notice is a violation of federal law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and may expose you to liability for damages, including attorneys' fees.
